Step 1: White Base Color
After cleaning and prepping your nails for a new manicure, apply an opaque white nail polish on your nails. This will serve as the base for your pineapple nails.
You may have to apply a second or third coating, depending on the formula of the polish you are using.
Step 2: Pineapple Bodies
To create the body of the pineapple, use a normal polish brush dipped in a bright yellow color. Dab on two or three circles on your nail. Make sure your base is completely dry before you start drawing on your fruit nail art.
Step 3: Pineapple Eyes
Using a thin nail art brush, draw criss-cross lines on the yellow circles with brown nail polish. You can also outline one side of the pineapple to create some depth.
Step 4: Create The Crown
This time, use yellow green polish to create the pineapple’s crown. The striper will help you create the leaves like properly. Apply several lines of the yellow-green polish from the pineapple body, making them seem like grass growing. You can also add in a darker shade of green to give it more depth.
Step 5: Apply Top Coat
Now you have cute pineapples on your fingernails! Don’t forget to apply a top coat on your fruit nail art for it to last longer. The fast-drying top coat will help seal in the design as well!
