Get Long, Strong, Healthy Nails Using Organic Ingredients
While healthy nails can be achieved through several ways, here’s one that has been proven and tested!
Lacquer companies released several products to keep nails long and strong. But if you don’t want to spend any more than you already do for manicures, there’s a natural solution available for you!
You just need organic ingredients from your kitchen to strengthen your nails and smoothen the skin on your hands at the same time! If your nails are getting brittle then this solution might be a great option for you to try.
What you’ll need for this solution to give you healthy nails:
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
Step 1: Prepare Orange Juice
To get healthy nails that grow fast, you need to use freshly squeezed orange juice. You can use a juicer to extract all of the fruit’s liquid goodness. If you don’t want the extra hassle, you can also buy some fresh orange juice from your local grocery.
Orange juice packs vitamin C which helps in the production of collagen and has folic acid for healthier nail growth.
Step 2: Crush Garlic
Crush the garlic and add it to your orange juice. If you don’t have a garlic crusher, cut it up into small pieces.
While it’s still unclear that garlic can help hasten the growth of nails, many still attest to its benefits. Garlic is also credited to have anti-inflammatory properties, which may be beneficial to people’s overall health.
Step 3: Soak Nails
When it’s done, soak your nails in the solution for a couple of minutes. This will help absorb the nutrients from the garlic as well as the Vitamin C and folic acid from the orange juice.
Step 4: Rub On Olive Oil
After soaking, rinse off the solution and pat dry with a towel. Now soak your nails in olive oil for a couple of minutes as well. Afterwards, you can just massage the oil around your nails. Massaging your nails can also help strengthen them by improving blood circulation.
Olive oil contains Vitamin E which moisturizes your nails and skin. Certain studies suggest that Vitamin E improves blood circulation, repairing damage and stimulating nail growth faster.
