Vegan Nail Polish Brands You Should Definitely Try

September 18, 2019 By Kelly Pepper Leave a Comment

With the need for beauty products transcending beyond aesthetics, interest has turned to merchandise made from natural ingredients. Vegan nail polish, for example, is one product gaining popularity.

It’s now possible to enjoy pretty nails using polish without ingredients coming from animals or having them tested on animals. I immediately got curious the first I heard of this kind of nail polishes. So what makes vegan nail polish special? It does not contain common carcinogens usually found in traditional nail polish like camphor, formaldehyde, formaldehyde de resin, DiButyl Phthalate  (DBP) and toluene. It promises to take care of your health without sacrificing the aesthetics.

Vegan Nail Polish Brands You Should Definitely Try

Despite the common perception that vegan brands are boring, they’re actually not. In fact, they have stylish and very up-to-date colors I know you guys will absolutely love. You might be even using some of these products without even knowing they’re actually vegan nail polish brands.

Here, I have a list of these vegan nail polish brands you should try as well as their best-selling shade.

1. 100% Pure

This vegan nail polish brand prides itself in being “the most organic, healthy and pure line of nail polishes.” It is filled with antioxidants keeping the nails healthy and stylish at the same time. I highly recommend Creamy Polish: Velouria, available for $12, if you’re looking for a nice nude shade perfect for any skin color.

2. Zoya

The brand is tagged as being the “longest wearing, natural nail polish available.” From a small nail salon, it has since evolved to become a manufacturer of beauty products. Among its must-haves, and my personal favorite, is Wednesday nail polish, which can be bought for $10. Good luck with choosing your own favorite shade as this brand has over 300 colors.

3. e.l.f.

When you talk about vegan nail polish, e.l.f. is one brand that’s always on the list. It has chip resistant shield as well as bristle design that allows flawless application. It’s also infused with vitamin E so you have healthier and stronger nails. For a festive look, buy their Chic Confetti ($6.50).

4. SpaRitual

The brand’s vegan nail polish boasts of superior shine at less drying time. The packaging was specifically designed to give users utmost convenience – rubber top provides easy grip as you apply a coat on your nails and brush gives precise application. For $12, try the Air Head from their Airy Sopranos series.

5. Mineral Fusion

The product, which is 100% vegan and cruelty-free, is long-lasting and chip-resistant. It comes with an extra thick brush for an immaculate application. Try Grotto ($8), a denim blue color that comes with a pearl finish.

The Dazzling Diamond, however, looks divine!
