Never forget to apply base coat on your nails before you even begin doing this nail art. It protects the nails from chipping. Additionally, it makes the nails strong and shiny. With the basic covered, let’s begin with the snowflake nails tutorial.
Step 1: Do the French
Use the sparkly red nail polish to create a French tip. Just swipe a coat or two of the nail polish on the tip part of your nails. If you want to add more color, add another coat or so.
Step 2: Get Coverage
Use the top coat to seal in the nail polish. It will give the nails a hard and shiny shield, which will be the base for the snowflake nails design.
Step 3: Brush in Lines
Get the fine brush to create three lines onto the nails. One of the line is going downward, the other a straight line going half-way across the nail, and the last one is going upward. Don’t fret if the lines are not perfect. Just make them work.
Step 4: Bring in More Lines
Draw smaller lines stemming from the big lines you did earlier. You can draw four lines stemming from all the big lines. Fairly easy!
Step 5: All About the Dots
Place dots on the tip of the big lines you drew. Add some more dots throughout the nails. There’s no need to follow a pattern. Just spread it out.
Step 6: Seal in the Deal
Finally, add another coat of the colorless top coat. This will protect the nail art you just created. It will also give the design the extra shine.
Voila! Here’s the pretty finished product for our snowflake nails:
